Mindfulness training for everyone from February 3, 2023
Do you suffer from a flood of thoughts? Do you feel like you don't have time for yourself and that emotions overwhelm you? Or perhaps it's difficult for you to feel anything. Do you find yourself worrying? Do you have a sense that life is slipping away, weeks turning into months and months into years?
If you answered yes to at least one of the above questions, we invite you to join this course.
It will help you regain more balance and peace in your life, offering a chance to connect with your own emotions.
Mindfulness is about opening yourself to experiencing your life in its full dimension, in every moment and moment-to-moment, with presence and acceptance.
Mindfulness helps expand self-awareness. Through it, you can better understand the workings of the mind and body, as well as the nature of emotions and thoughts, allowing you to broaden your perspective and enjoy life more fully. The mindfulness course is practical in nature, and your own experience serves as the foundation for learning. The group is helpful in this process, as together, in a safe atmosphere of curiosity and kindness, you will explore how the mind operates.
No prior preparation or experience in mindfulness practice is needed to participate in the program.

The course is educational and developmental in nature and is not psychotherapy.

Pre-week - What is mindfulness?
Week 1 - Start where you are (mindfulness and the restless mind)
Week 2 - Body as a place of presence
Week 3 - Introduction to grounding in mindfulness
Week 4 - Working with distractions
Week 5 - Exploring the stream of thoughts
Week 6 - The observer's stance
Day of Mindfulness - Immersion in practice
Week 7 - Self-acceptance
Week 8 - Living mindfully
The course includes:
- Pre-course telephone consultation
- 9 group meetings lasting approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes each
- Day of Mindfulness (6 hours)
- Recordings for regular home practice based on the methods learned throughout the course (ranging from 15 to 50 minutes per day)
- PDF handbook
- Optional summary consultation after the last meeting
- Certificate upon attending at least 6 out of the 9 meetings
- Facebook group for course graduates
- Access to monthly 'Practice Together' meetings on Zoom

The course is conducted online in real time, so access to a device with a functioning camera and microphone is necessary.
Classes are not recorded.
FACILITATORS: Magdalena Wegner - Mindfulness teacher, certified Nonviolent Communication trainer, Transactional Analysis practitioner, sociotherapist, and consultant. Founder of Wyspa Zmian.
Weronika Chmielewska - Mindfulness teacher, co-founder and President of the EduMind Mindfulness in Education Foundation, owner of My Mindful Way Nika Chmielewska. Background in economics, works as an insurance broker.
PRICE: The online course is priced at 1100 PLN.
If you register and pay the deposit before December 15, 2022, you can avail of a lower price: 990 PLN.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION: The course will start if a minimum of 6 people join, with a maximum group size of 18 people.
After registration, we will ask you to complete a short survey and invite you to a 15-30 minute phone or Zoom conversation to address any doubts or concerns.
The course is supervised by Mindfulness Association Poland.
No prior meditation experience is required to participate in the program.
